WT6G’25

The Way to 6G Workshop, on 23 October 2025

Call for Papers and Announcement

5G systems are now up and running in many countries and regions across the world, and research is turning its attention towards understanding the full potential and limitations of 5G, investigating relevant test-beds and experimental frameworks, and defining the new frontier of 6G networks. International bodies such as 3GPP and the International Mobile Telecommunications Project are planning for these developments, and the next five to six years 2025-2030 will see major technological advances to address these challenges.

Thus, new technologies and capabilities for 6G are needed for demanding applications such as Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC), Telepresence and Enhanced Reality, Dependable Very Low Latency Systems for the Internet of Vehicles, Robots, the IoT, and communications that connect the unconnected. Thus:
WT6G’25 will include papers limited to 8 pages in standard IEEE conference format, submitted via Easychair https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mascots2025 (please select WT6G track) by July 14, 2025, as well as invited contributions,  on relevant topics including, but not limited to:
–    Relevant models and analyses for 6G, including bandwidth, frequencies, and resource sharing among operators
–    Test-beds, emulators and use-cases for 6G,
–    Non-terrestrial communication technologies,
–    Quantum and Machine Learning Technologies for 6G,
–    Wired, wireless, edge and D2D technologies for massive performance,
–    Proposals and analyses of new technologies that can connect the unconnected,
–    Sustainable, resilient, secure, high-speed and low-delay communication methods and technologies for 6G.
